Seven questions in. One organized meeting out.
The tool doesn’t ask for records, diagnoses or your child’s name. It asks about your situation, and it turns the answers into preparation you can hold in your hand.
The flow, end to end
- Land on the page for your problem: a goal that isn’t met, an accommodation that isn’t followed or an annual review.
- Complete the 7-step intake: about eight minutes, skippable where it makes sense, saved as you go.
- Get your free Meeting Prep Card: one page, fully editable, printable.
- Optionally unlock the Case File for $49: nine printable sections plus the follow-up tools.
- After the meeting, come back: notes become a follow-up email and a 30-day tracker.
The 7-step intake
Each path asks a slightly different set of questions, because a meeting about slow progress needs different preparation than a meeting about implementation. The shared spine:
- Choose your situation. Goal not met, accommodation not followed or annual review.
- Set the timing. Date on the calendar, coming soon or not scheduled yet.
- Name the focus. The school areas affected (reading, writing, math, behavior, communication, executive functioning, other) and your biggest concern, in your words.
- Add your observations. What you’ve seen, how often, where and what you already have on paper.
- Fill in the details. Path-specific: goal excerpt and clarity checks; the accommodations and settings involved; or what worked and what didn’t this year.
- State your outcome. What a good result looks like to you.
- Name the room. Which roles will attend (roles, never names).
The free Meeting Prep Card
One page, generated instantly, every line editable before you print it:
- Your primary meeting priority, written as a sentence you could read aloud.
- Three documents or notes to bring: chosen from what you said you have (and what you’re missing).
- Three questions to ask: one core question for your situation, one specific to your focus area, one that gets you evidence rather than impressions.
- A suggested opening sentence for the meeting.
- Your next action: which changes depending on whether your meeting is in three days or not scheduled at all.
The Case File ($49)
The paid product is the same preparation, taken all the way. It is organized around the three moments when you need it and prints cleanly on letter paper or exports to PDF:
- Parent Meeting Brief: purpose, concern, desired outcome.
- Evidence Map: concern → observation → evidence to bring → question to ask.
- Goal Clarity Review: baseline, measurability, progress method, target/review date, with a question for each gap.
- Accommodation Implementation Log: one row per accommodation and setting.
- Role-Specific Questions: for the special education teacher, general education teacher, school psychologist, speech therapist and administrator.
- Parent Opening Statement: a calm 45–60 second statement built from your words.
- Meeting Notes and Decisions: what was agreed, who owns it, deadlines, evidence you’ll receive.
- Follow-Up Email: generated after the meeting from your notes, fully editable.
- 30-Day Follow-Up Tracker: actions, owners, due dates, status.
After the meeting
Most meeting prep ends when the meeting starts. The hard part is the month after, when agreements meet reality. Your case file includes the tools for that stretch: a notes section that becomes a summary email, and a tracker seeded with the follow-ups your meeting path implies, editable, because plans change.
How recommendations are made
Rules, not AI. The engine matches your situation, areas, evidence, timing and attendees against our own library of questions, documents and templates. Same answers, same output. You could regenerate it a hundred times. AI never decides what you should ask, and nothing in the tool will ever tell you a school broke the law or that a goal is legally inadequate. Those are conclusions for professionals in your state; our job is making sure you walk in with better questions.
