What AOGAR is

AOGAR is a web tool that helps parents prepare for an IEP meeting. You answer seven short steps about your situation, and it produces two things: a free one-page Meeting Prep Card you can read in the car, and a $49 printable Case File for preparing, running the meeting and following up.

The day-to-day AOGAR is trying to make easier

It is rarely one dramatic problem. It is a folder that never quite got organized. The progress report that turns up in a backpack on a Friday. Remembering at 11pm the thing the teacher said in October that never turned into anything. Walking in with fifteen points in your head and getting through three of them.

The load we want to reduce is the preparation load. Not the law, not the school, not your child. Preparing for one meeting should be a short, calm session at the kitchen table rather than a week of dread and the meeting itself should end with something written down.

The point is structure, not ammunition. A concern with dates, examples and a clear question is hard to wave away; the same concern as a general worry is easy to move past. Most meetings are not fights, and this tool is built for the parent who wants a workable plan.

That is AOGAR’s aim as a product, not a description of everything the company does. We picked one narrow part of one process, and we try to make that part lighter.

Who builds it

Everything on this site is made in-house at Neurosia Limited: the question sets, the rules engine, the wording of every page and the follow-up email templates. Nothing is licensed from a third party, and no language model writes your meeting.

We would rather be plain about this than impressive. There is no panel of experts to name, no advisory board and no borrowed credentials on this page. If you want to know who wrote a specific set of questions, ask at help@aogar.com and we will tell you.

Worth saying plainly: nothing here has been reviewed by an attorney, an advocate, a teacher or a clinician. It is written in-house, and it is general preparation help rather than advice about your child.

How the tool is built, and why that matters to you

• It is rules, not a chatbot. The same answers always produce the same preparation. No AI decides what you should ask.
• Every line is editable. Each block has an Edit button. The tool writes a first draft, you own the final wording and your edits are what print.
• Keep your recovery code private. It restores your free card for 30 days. No account, no uploads, and we never ask for your child’s name, date of birth, diagnosis or school.
• Nothing is sold on. No advertising cookies and no data brokerage. Privacy spells out the small amount that does exist: the receipt email and basic analytics.

What we will not do

These limits are deliberate, and they are what make the tool safe to use.

• We do not give legal advice, in any state.
• We do not diagnose or evaluate your child.
• We do not decide whether your school followed the law, or whether your child is eligible for anything.
• We do not tell you what you are entitled to. That is a question for a licensed attorney or a qualified advocate in your state, and when a situation calls for one, hiring one is the right move.

What we do is help you prepare, organize, document and ask better questions, which is also what any professional you later consult will want to see from you. The full disclaimer is short and worth two minutes.

We are not a school district, a state education agency, an advocacy organization or a law firm, and we are not affiliated with any of them. Payments are processed by Stripe; card details never reach this site.

How to reach us

Email help@aogar.com for anything: a question before you buy, a correction, a refund or a privacy request. The contact page also has the postal address if you would rather write to the company.

Please do not send your child’s records or identifying details. We do not need them, cannot store them safely and would have to delete them.

How we keep this current

When we find something wrong, we fix it and the correction shows up on the page itself. The privacy page changes whenever the data we actually collect changes, so it stays a description rather than a promise.

Corrections from parents are the fastest way this gets better. If a question is wrong, unclear or missing, tell us which one and what happened.
